Hello, I am a New Zealand citizen living in Australia. Am I able to get a Thai visa while I am still in Australia? Or do I need to apply for the visa in person in New Zealand? Thank you.

Hello, my niece will work as a intern in Koh Samui for 6 months. She is going to apply a Non-Immigration -ED Visa which is valid for 90 days only. May I know whether she can extend her Visa in Koh Samui? or she needs to back to hometown to apply extension?
Please check with the school or institution who provided her assistance with the visa application in regard to the extension application. They should be able to advise you regarding your concern.
Hello, I am Australian Citizen and having overseas citizen of India. I am planning to go India from March up-to April 2016. During this period, From India I want to go Thailand for 7 days holidays as a tourist and then return to India again.
Question 1:
Can I get VISA on arrival in Thailand or need to apply for VISA before travel to Thailand?
Question 2
If I need to apply for VISA, from which country I need to apply? Is it from Australia or India?
Since you are only staying for 7 days, you can enter Thailand without a visa. Citizens of Australia are permitted to stay in Thailand for up to 30 days if travelling by air and 15 days if entering at any border checkpoint. But if you see the necessity to apply for a tourist visa, then you may apply either at the Thai Embassy in Australia or in India.
