Hi,
I am a Swedish citizen living in Auckland. I will be going to a conferences this year through my company and the location this year is Thailand. I will just be attending a conference that my company is having in Thailand. I wanted to check if I need to apply for a specific Visa for this or can I travel on the 30 day tourist Visa given to Swedish citizens?
If I need to apply for a Visa, what Visa will I need to apply for and where can I apply for one?
Hi Zandra,
The 30-day visa exempt stamp is issued to foreigners who wish to enter Thailand for the purpose of tourism. We advise that you check with the company or firm or whoever is hosting the conference to see if they are able to provide you sponsorship for the appropriate type of visa.
I am a new Zealand permanent resident and wish to apply for a tourist multiple entry visa for thailand. I will be in transit in Bangkok on the 25th December and again on 28th January 2016 enroute to India and back with my family. Please advise. Thank you, Sammy
