Hi I am travelling Nepal from Brisbane and have around 14 hrs of layover overnight through thai on Bangkok airways. Do I supposed to have any sorts of immigration clearance like visa or any paperworks to stay inside the airport only? And I do hold Nepalese passport. And I am travelling on May 15th and I am running out of time.
You will need to apply for a Transit Visa. Kindly contact the Thai embassy or consulate nearest you for assistance with the visa application.
Im planning to travel to Thailand in the near future , is it possible to apply for it in Brisbane’s Thai Consulate or do i have to apply somewhere else?

I have an O-A Long Term Retirement Visa and it expires on 08/07/2016. I have returned to Australia without buying my Re-entry Permit. What are my options please? What does the Re-entry Permit actually allow? Is it possible to gain the Re-entry Permit in Australia? Can I return to Thailand before the expiry date, and buy my Re-entry permit and if so do I need a return ticket?
Thank you for your help,
Gregory Westcott
The re-entry permit allows you to use the same visa when you exit and re-enter Thailand for the duration of stay provided. You need to apply for the re-entry permit before leaving the country otherwise, your visa will be void when you exit Thailand.
In your case, since you have already left the country without obtaining a re-entry permit, you can no longer use your O-A visa. If you want to return to Thailand, you will need to apply for a new visa.
