I’m currently living in Brisbane, and I would like to change the spelling of my English name (just spelling, not the name). The reason is people are always pronounced my name wrong.

Where can I change the spelling of my English name for both Thai ID and passport?

Do I have to go to Sydney or Canberra to do, or when will you come to service Thai people in Brisbane?

    Thank you.

You will need to go to the district office in Thailand where you have your name registered if you wish to change the spelling of your name. For more information, you may contact the Thai Embassy or Consulate near you.

I have tried calling the number listed on this website many times but am told it is unavailable. Has your number been changed?
I am contacting you on behalf of my daughter who is overseas but will be back in Australia in April. She has been offered a teaching job in Thailand and needs some information. She will come into your office to organise her visa but wants to be prepared properly when she comes.
Could you please answer these questions for her:
    1) When applying for a non immigration B visa to work in Thailand, what documents do I have to bring when I apply? (I am aware that my employer has to submit some documents too and he is doing that)
    2) Are there any regulations regarding the flights? do I have to book a return flight to obtain the visa? or can i get a single flight?
