You may apply for a new passport at MFA in Thailand. If you are outside Thailand, you may visit the Thai Embassy or Consulate in your country regarding your concern.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been invited to a Leadership Training Conference in Bangkok from July 27- Aug 7, 2015. I am a Tongan Passport holder. Can I apply for my Thai visa over there at the Auckland consulate?
Appreciate your help,
thank you
Sione
We advise that you contact the Thai Consulate in Auckland and verify from them if they are accepting Thai tourist visa applications for Tongan passport holders. Their contact number is 09 373 3166. You can also email them directly your concern at [email protected].
Thanks a lot. I have done exactly that!
Hi Sir/Madam
I’m planning a trip to Thailand for holiday next month. My passport has 2 years remaining before it expires, however it got wet whilst on holiday a couple of years ago. All the pages are in tact but have a few wrinkles and the corners of the photo page are peeling away (very slightly). Am I likely to encounter problems with border control at Bangkok because of it? I have travelled with it several times without problem, but i heard that Thailand border control can be very strict? Please advise.
Hi Matthew!
Thank you for contacting us.
Thai immigration can be quite strict when it comes to granting entry to foreigners. In regard to your concern, it depends on how bad the damage on passport pages is and, therefore, it’s difficult for us to give you advise on this matter. If you still have time to apply for a new passport, we then recommend that you just get a new one (to be on a safer side).
