The visa that you should be applying for should be in accordance with the purpose of your travel to Thailand. If you can provide us with your contact number, we can give you a call and provide you further recommendation regarding your concern.
Sir, I hold an Australian passport.
Do I need a visa for a holiday for 7 days?
No. Australian passport holders are entitled to a 30 days visa-free stay in Thailand if travelling for tourism purpose only.
Dear Sir,
My wife’s Thai passport has expired. We live near Brisbane. Can we get a new one issued in Brisbane? She is a permanent resident of Australia.
There is no Thai consulate in Brisbane. You need to contact the Thai embassy in Canberra to assist you on this matter.
I am retired and have just come back from 3 months spent in Thailand. How do I get a 12 month visa please?
You can apply for a Non Immigrant O-A (Long Stay) Visa from the Thai embassy or consulate in your home country which allows you to stay in Thailand for 1 year. Please contact their office for more information on the necessary requirements.
Good Morning
The last time I was in Thailand I visited Laos by road and on re-entering Thailand I was told that I need to get a visa in Australia before coming back. They wrote something in my passport.
Now I want to return to Thailand for a week to attend a funeral. I am in Queensland and there is no Thai embassy or consulate here. What can I do please?
Kindly check the note specified by the immigration officer on your passport and contact the Thai embassy or consulate nearest you for more information on the best visa option for your travel to Thailand.
Hi,
I am an Australian Permanent Resident in Australia from Perth and want to visit Thailand for 7 day holiday.
Do I need to get visa of Thailand and if so how much it cost?
Thanks
Your ability to enter Thailand will be based on the passport you currently hold. We would recommend that you contact the Thai embassy or consulate nearest you to inquire about whether or not you will need a visa before entering Thailand.
